Overview
The CTAP Region 8 Technology Certification program is designed to help educators direct their educational technology professional development. The objective of Technology Certification is to ensure that classroom educators have the requisite skills, knowledge and ability to effectively integrate technology into the curriculum.
Technology Certification is organized into 3 Levels of Proficiency:
* Level One: Basic Proficiency
* Level Two: Professional Proficiency
* Level Three Mentor: Mentor Proficiency
* Level Three Leader: Leader Proficiency
* Application Form
* Attestation Form
Educators demonstrate mastery at each level through the development of a portfolio organized around proficiency standards. The CTAP Region 8 proficiency standards are aligned to Standards 9 and 16 of the teacher performance standards written by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
