District Tech Plans help focus development of technology use in a district or charter. Approved plans are required for acquisition of funding for EETT Formula Grants, K-12 Vouchers and E-Rate. These plans must meet the requirements of Appendix C.
Workshops are held periodically By CTAP 8 to provide guidance for Tech Plan Writing. Please check to see if one is being offered in the time frame you require. Websites and documents below should provide additional guidance.
To be eligible for EETT Formula funding, tech plans must be submitted electronically in one of these cycles to:
Kelly Bergen, Kern County area
Debbie Guardado, San Luis Obispo County area
Mary Standlee, Santa Barbara County area
Dana Greenspan, Ventura County area
An approved EETT technology plan is required for your district to be eligible for EETT - related funding options. CTAP is offering workshops for educators to help with technology plan and grant writing.
Deadlines
In order to have your plan approved or renewed before the expiration date, you must submit your EETT Tech Plan via email to the Kern CTAP Office by this date:

EETT-Appendix C -- This document is required at the end of your plan. It not only identifies the location of each component of the plan, but it will help you evaluate those components. The reader of your plan will use this document to determine if each of the criteria are adequately addressed. (MS Word)
EETT Appendix H -- After completion of yor plan, add this form to indicate your district is compliant with certain state workplace laws.
EETT Appendix I -- This form indicates that you have fully revised your previous tech plans. This form is not needed if this is your district's frst technology plan.
E-Rate Supplemental Form -- If you will be using your tech plan as an E-Rate plan, you will need to add this short form.
